NCLEXCrusadeExamSoft

Florida-based organization to deliver exams using ExamSoft and remote proctoring technology in the new year

Dallas, TX – December 7, 2021 – ExamSoft is pleased to announce the addition of a new client that supports the credentialing and licensure space: NCLEX Crusade.

Reinier Airado and Lidixy Amador founded NCLEX Crusade in 2018 to aid Spanish-speaking students prepare for and pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN® exam), the exam required to become a registered nurse in the United States.

NCLEX Crusade provides an online mentoring program to future nurses complete with courses and exams. The NCLEX, a computer-based exam in English, is planning substantial changes to the exam format and question types beginning in 2023. To prepare their students for those coming changes, NCLEX Crusade will begin delivering exams through ExamSoft, a digital assessment platform that offers the Next Generation question types included on the new NCLEX.

In addition to the Next Gen question types, NCLEX Crusade chose to adopt ExamSoft for its reporting capabilities, which will help the organization guide their students on areas of strength and weakness.

“We like the very in-depth way of measuring student success and progress with ExamSoft, so we were very interested in that aspect because we wanted to have the capability of understanding our students from beginning to end, and having the possibility to show them their progress,” Airado said. “We serve the Spanish-speaking community by providing a bilingual mentoring and tutoring program that students pay for once and are allowed to continue using until they pass the NCLEX.”

The organization works with students from all over the United States and Latin America, with students from Brazil, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and Venezuela among other countries. Each year, the organization works with about 1,000-1,200 students.

Britt Nichols, senior vice president of marketing and sales for ExamSoft, said, “We appreciate organizations like NCLEX Crusade who are actively working to help solve problems in education and that align with our own vision of transforming learning for everyone, everywhere.”
