Aimee Badeaux, Ph.D., CRNA
Program Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program, Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University

Aimee L. Badeaux, Ph.D., CRNA is the Program Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. Dr. Badeaux’s areas of research interest are broad and include visual cognition in the expert vs. novice anesthesia provider, assessment and evaluation in nurse anesthesia education and the effects of anesthesia on the developing brain.

Dr. Badeaux has been an ExamSoft client since 2014, when the nurse anesthesia program adopted computer-based testing via ExamSoft. In 2015 the program began using the rubric feature to assess outcome attainment. Dr. Badeaux uses ExamSoft products and their capabilities to make data driven curricular changes and to help guide student learning. ExamSoft products have revolutionized Dr. Badeaux’s own assessment processes as well as the program’s overall approach to testing psychometric analysis.

Allison Case, Ph.D.
Former Director of Education and Assessment, ExamSoft

Allison Case is the former Director of Education and Assessment for ExamSoft. At ExamSoft, Dr. Case consulted with clients on their assessment and accreditation needs as part of ExamSoft’s EAS+Y assessment consultations services and hosted Seasons 1 and 2 of the Pedagogo podcast. Prior to joining ExamSoft, Dr. Case was a faculty member and the Director of Curriculum and Assessment in the bioengineering department at the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from UT Southwestern Medical School.
