About the Featured Presenter

Aimee L. Badeaux, PhD, CRNA is the Program Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. Dr. Badeaux completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2002 at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, her Master of Science in Anesthesiology at Our Lady of the Lake College in 2007, and her PhD in Curriculum and Instruction in 2015 at Louisiana State University.

Dr. Badeaux’s areas of research interests are broad and include visual cognition in the expert vs. novice anesthesia provider, assessment and evaluation in nurse anesthesia education, and the effects of anesthesia on the developing brain. An ExamSoft client since 2014, Dr. Badeaux uses ExamSoft’s capabilities to make data-driven curricular changes and guide student learning.
